chicken2This Low Sodium Lasagna Soup will blow your socks off! For us LoSo folks making lasagne could be a tall order, keeping it "doable" within our sodium numbers and have any flavor. Not this soup, it is everything we love about lasagna, but presented in an easier to control recipe. It sounded good when I saw the recipe, but eating it was such a flavor treat. Using unsalted tomates both crushed and diced from a can and unsalted beef broth, lowers our sodium level drastically, then add to that we can control and adjust the mount of the 3 different cheeses on a per person basis because it's added individually at the end. If you want a very filling, easy to make crock pot recipe that will just blow your socks off this one is it.

1 Bell Pepper
14 1/2 ounce Petite Diced Tomatoes (Salt Free)
28 ounce Crushed Tomatoes (Salt Free)

    How to make Lasagna soup Crock pot recipe:

  1. First brown the ground beef.
  2. Second place the ground beef in a 6 quart crock pot.
  3. Add in diced onion and red bell pepper.
  4. Pour in the crushed tomatoes and the diced tomatoes.
  5. Add in seasonings.
  6. Third, pour in the beef broth.
  7. Then Cover and cook on low for 5-6 hours.
  8. Remove the lid.Break the lasagna into bite size pieces and stir in.
  9. Cover and cook on high for about 30 minutes until the noodles are soft.
  10. Spoon into bowls. Top with a tablespoon of ricotta cheese, and a handful of mozzarella and parmesan cheese. I also like to sprinkle with fresh basil, put some fresh craked pepper on it.
